Dr. Ling Zang is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Utah and serves as Associate Dean for Research in the John and Marcia Price College of Engineering. A Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and the Royal Society of Chemistry, he is also a former Alexander von Humboldt Fellow and a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award. His extensive work in nanoscience and nanotechnology includes publishing over 180 scientific papers and one book, alongside a strong commitment to technology transfer and the founding of three startup companies.
